Is my appointment confirmed when I send the request?

Not yet. A request tells the office you would like to be seen and when you are generally free. Someone from that office calls you and you agree a time together. Until they call, nothing is booked.

Do I have to use insurance?

No. Ask about the current self-pay fee, inclusions and any implications for your coverage before choosing. Self-pay is not the same as out-of-network billing.

Are the doctor’s hours the same as the store’s?

No. The Vision Center’s retail hours are Monday to Saturday 9am to 7pm and Sunday 12 to 5pm. The doctor’s hours are set by the practice, differ by office and are listed on each location page.

What if my exact plan is not listed?

No match is not a rejection. Contact the selected office and your insurer for a current scoped check.

How much total time should I allow, and who confirms the appointment?

Ask for the total time for your visit, including any tests. The office you chose confirms the appointment details for your situation.

Can I change a request or an appointment?

Call the office. A change request is not a changed appointment until staff acknowledge it.
